Meet the Dartmouth Teen Who Chose Guitar Over Public School

Douglas McCulloch, writing for Dartmouth Week, penned a really nice profile piece on Thatcher.

And so begins the much-anticipated Post-Super-Bowl build up to Thatcher's concert this coming Saturday at the Dartmouth Grange.

Enjoy the article. Hope to see you at the show.

In the meantime, celebrate guitar.

From start to finish, Thatcher dances palms and fingers across guitar strings. Upon the soundboard. Along the sides of his guitar. And back again.

All those moves play well in "When You Came Dancing" <https://youtu.be/ZBUY482Bqts> - Thatcher's first fingerstyle composition on YouTube.

This may be the coolest musical performance you've ever seen. (It's right up there for me.)
